Ben Anderson

Ben has over 20 years of operational, risk, project and quality management experience, both in the public and private sectors. Ben’s strengths are in people management and community engagement.

Ben’s initial career as an officer in the NZ Army provided him with a taste for leadership and an appreciation for the challenges and perspectives unique to other cultures. After leaving the military, Ben worked in a range of developing countries and post conflict environments, for sectors as diverse as international government, aviation, minerals exploration and construction.

Now home in New Zealand and the Hawke’s Bay, Ben has turned his attention to assisting industry organisations and regional government deliver services and projects to the communities they represent.

Ben cares greatly about New Zealand’s regions and their economic, social and environmental sustainability. Whilst their challenges are real, so are the opportunities and Ben is committed to helping achieve them.
